Habitat for Humanity of Monroe Countyis settling into the 2012 build schedule and is in need of committed individuals to aid in its mission to provide simple decent housing for families living in substandard conditions. We are in the process of starting up a new leadership program to provide training opportunities on the various phases of building a Habitat home. Crew leading is one of our biggest needs right now and we are always looking to recruit new trainees who want to learn construction skills and work with volunteers on the job site. Our goal is to provide adequate training and make crew leaders comfortable leading others on certain tasks during a build. We try to personalize the training based on the crew leader's availability and construction interests. We especially seek crew leaders that speak Spanish, but all are encouraged to apply. To arrange an interview, interested students should contact:

Adrian Starnes,
Crew Leader Coordinator
