DOMESTIC INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Note: For domestic internships with international components, search at international policy organizations, government agencies, international trade organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGO's), relief organizations and organizations working for international democracy and justice. Below are a few places to start your search:

    • The IU Mathers Museum of World Cultures
      The museum has exhibits, events, and educational programs that give you a chance to learn more about objects from Australia to Zanzibar. Student volunteers and practica students also have the opportunity to research and catalog artificats from around the world, and to develop exhibits and educational programs to help teach the public about the artificats and the cultures they represent: 416 N. Indiana Avenue. Public hours: T-F, 9:a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, 1 to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free. Phone 855-6873. mathers@indiana.edu.
    • Outreach Activities run by the Center for the Study of Global Change
      Includes International Studies summer institutes and possible opportunities for internships or volunteer work (201 N. Indiana).
