    Graduate School Information Meeting

    International Studies sponsors an information meeting/panel discussion about graduate school in the fall (usually October). The panel features International Studies alums who are current and former graduate students. Time and location to be determined.

    Learning Express Library

    The IU Library provides access to this interactive online database of practice tests, including the LSAT and GRE, with scoring, complete answer explanations, and analysis of results.

    IU Career Development Center provides information on deciding if graduate school is right for you, things to consider when choosing a school, the application process, and a list of useful sites.

    Master's vs Doctoral degree
    The Princeton Review  provides a good explanation of the difference between Master's and Doctoral degrees, the purpose, academic timeline and  funding expectations of each.


    IU's Health Professions and Pre-law Center
    Interested in law school or a medical profession, IU offers resources such as a specialized advising, a recommendation service, events, workshops, and MCAT/LSAT preparation courses.

    Top International Relations/Public Policy Graduate Programss
    The Foreign Policy Association lists the best programs in international relations and public policy.

    Peace Corps and Graduate School
    This site discusses how it is possible to combine Peace Corps with a graduate education.

    The Beinecke Scholarship Program
    This program offers graduate scholarships for students planning to attend graduate school in the arts, humanities and social sciences.

    Thomas Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program
    This program offers graduate scholarships for students planning to attend graduate school in international affairs or related field with the intention of working in the U.S. Foreign Service.
