Announcing the 2003 InULA Scholarship Winners

It is my pleasure to announce that the winners of the InULA scholarships are Elizabeth Dehne and Jennifer La Master. Elizabeth will be a student in SLIS next fall and is currently at Miami University of Ohio. Jennifer is a current SLIS student.

This year, the board decided to change the eligibility requirements for the InULA scholarships under the Julieann V. Nilson Scholarship Program to allow incoming students to be eligible. There were 20 total applicants from among matriculating and current students. It was a very difficult task to select the winners, each of whom will receive a $1,000 scholarship. I thank the Board for all of their hard work on this important assignment.

Remember that the main source of income for the InULA scholarships and other funded activities is the book sales that will take place during National Library Week at both the Indianapolis and Bloomington campuses. Show your support for InULA by participating in the book sales, either as a customer or a volunteer.
