A publication of the Indiana University Librarians Association
InULA Notes is only the current incarnation of a publication that dates back to 1969. It has appeared under several titles over the years, InULA Scoop Sheet from 1969 until the Winter 1973/74 issue, InULA Quarterly from 1974 until the end of 1982, then none were published in 1983, and the publication reappeared as the The InULA Innuendo from 1984 until 1991 and the current title InULA Notes beginning in 1992. In addition to changes in the title of the publication, the numbering system has changed three times. The very early issues of the Scoop Scheet were only by date, later issues had a volume numbering system but which started with volume 3 (volumes 1 and 2 apparently were retrospectively applied to the earlier issues). The volume numbering recycled back to volume 1 again with the change from the InULA Quarterly to the InULA Innuedo.
In the Spring of 2001 a retrospective digitization project was undertaken to digitize the backissues held in paper form in the InULA archives and filling in some missing issues from the bound holdings of the Indiana University Main Library.
