Summer Update Review

The iOffice development team is committed to continual development of the product. They are constantly building on new features and functionality based heavily upon input received from clients.

The iOffice team realizes the necessity of an immigration case management system to be fully SEVIS compliant. Therefore, when an update is made to SEVIS, clients receive an iOffice update prior to the release of the SEVIS update. In addition, the iOffice team will build transitional tools for clients to use in the transition to SEVIS II.

To showcase our committment to continual development, please find below a review of a few of the new features that were included in the summer update of iOffice.

Case Tracker:

The electronic equivalent of passing around paper files, the case tracker enables you to assign cases to advisors and staff in the international office. The case tracker also enables you to provide internal status updates and updates to the user or department.

Upload Documents from E-Forms:

Allow users of the online services to upload documents from an e-form. Files are converted to PDFs and attached to the user's profile in iOffice.

Front Desk Check-In System:

Electronic front desk check-in system helps track foot traffic to the international office. Check-in time, time resolved, and reason for visit are stored in the system, allowing you to produce numerous reports on international office use.

Scheduling Engine:

Scheduling engine allows you to create events for orientation or any time of the year. Orientation events generate automatic schedules for new students. Other events create session sign-up forms in iStart to allow students to RSVP electronically.

Facebook Application:

Interact with your students in a medium that they use on a daily basis: Facebook. iOffice integrates with the Facebook application, allowing you to create groups, events, office updates, and post pictures and videos to Facebook without having a Facebook account. In addition, your users can access all the online services provided in iStart from within the Facebook application.
