IRAP Year 1: Inquiry Phase 4 Requirements

Phase Requirements Overview

In Phase 4 (Looking and Listening) you will carry out the plan that you developed during Phase 3.

What to Submit for This Phase

  1. CHANGES OR ADDITIONS TO YOUR PLAN. Provide information about any changes that were made to your original plan. For each change, include a detailed explanation of why the change was made. If additions were made to your plan (i.e., if you added a new way of looking or listening), be sure to include all of the information required in phase 3 (i.e., who, what, where, when, and why).

  1. REFLECTION. Provide information about how your data collection methods worked. This reflection shouldn't focus on the extent to which your methods helped you to answer your inquiry question. You won't know that until you have analyzed the information you have. Instead, reflect on the ease with which your methods unfolded. Did the data collection process take more or less time than you had anticipated? Was the work more or less tedious or difficult than you expected it to be? Was this process valuable in and of itself? Explain.
