Louise O'Connor graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Statistics. She has worked for the U.S. Navy in Maryland as an Information Programmer/Operations Researcher and at Hewlett-Packard in Colorado as a Systems Analyst in database design and programming. She began her employment at Indiana University as the Project Web Programmer/Analyst for the International Resource Center's Indiana in the World project. She has since worked on developing and maintaining Web sites and/or database systems for International Programs, CIEDA, and the Center for the Study of Global Change; including the Open Society's Burmese Scholars project, International Studies Summer Institute (ISSI), Access International, International Studies for Indiana Schools (ISIS), and the South African Legislative Drafting Program. Additionally, she was the Project Engineer for the National Keystone Conference public service announcements ISIS marketing video and Web Programmer for the Indiana University Archive of Traditional Music's Liberia Collections Project.
