This partnership between the University of Namibia (UNAM) Northern Campus (NC) and Indiana University East (IU-E) is sponsored by the US State Department Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Located in the disadvantaged north of Namibia the NC has successfully promoted economic development and expanded educational opportunities by effectively using distance education technologies and innovative community outreach programs. The campus is now poised to develop and expand its academic offerings. The goal of this project is to improve NC's academic program by expanding its technical degree-granting efforts. The exchange will also provide IU with an opportunity to "internationalize" one of its regional campuses at IU-E. The partnership includes twenty short- and long-term faculty and administrator exchanges between the NC and IU-E over a two year period. For more information, please contact
