In June, 1998, the IU Workshop on Political Theory, received a University Cooperation in Development grant from the Association Liaison Office of USAID.  The grants provides for Ph.D. training for one faculty member from Khatmandu University (KU) at IUB, short-term faculty  training for 4 KU faculty at the IU Center for the Study of Institutions, Populations, and Environmental Change, and consulting assignments for three IUB faculty and researchers at KU.  The primary contact at IU for this program is Dr. Elinor Ostrom (Elinor Ostrom; Tel: 812-855-0441).
