| The Symposium will address topics of
local, regional, national and international relevance, which will be
particularly useful for natural resource managers, researchers,
academicians, and students interested in the social dimensions of natural
resource issues.
Over the years, the Symposium has gained
international recognition as a forum for dialogues between disciplines,
between the research and management sectors, between public and private
efforts, and between basic and applied researchers. Our goal is to be
inclusive rather than exclusive.
