We really don't have a way of matching up these questions with faculty members. Many, if not most of the faculty are not licensed to practice law in Indiana, and even answering a simple question could be considered legal advice.

We take information (name, address), get information on illness, pull up student's schedule and notify the professors that the student has or will miss their class. We don't require proof, but advise taking it to class.

We handle all withdraws except University Division, Law School, and Continuing Studies (or international students with visa status of U or P). We send them to the Student's Advocate Office, Room 206 to process.

Sign your contract, return it with the $200 pre-payment and the enclosed blue re- assignment request form. Your name will be placed on a waiting list and we'll notify you as quickly as we're able to honor your request.

Notification will be sent to you in early August. Roommate name and telephone number will also besent at that time. Room changes can be done after first week of classes if space is available.

If you need an air-conditioned room for medical reasons, you should request assignment to one of the air-conditioned residence halls: Teter, McNutt, or Foster. Please include with your housing application a letter from your doctor that confirms your condition.

College of Arts & Science students need to have two advisors - one from their major department and the second advisor in the School of Education. The student should see each advisor on a regular basis.

D.51 Will you continue to be my advisor? How are advisors assigned?: School of Education, Academic Advisor
Advisors are not assigned to students in Education. Instead, the student chooses an advisor that they are compatible with and hopefully stays with them through all 4 years.

Yes, upper-numbered education courses are usually restricted to admitted students only.

D.53 How can I be sure that the courses I need will be available in the upcoming fall and spring semesters?: School of Education, Academic Advisor
The School of Education tries to tell students to watch for courses that are taught fall or spring only. The best way to be sure is to check the bulletin from the school that teaches the course. The bulletin will say fall-spring-summer only.

Yes, we can change times/days internally.

All evaluations are sent to the student teaching office. Final evaluations with career placement numbers are sent to career services once a student requests that it be done. Otherwise, finals with no numbers are held in our office.
