The loaner programs at the Adaptive Technology Center are in place to better support the needs of students, faculty and staff at the university with various disability related issues.
Access to these services is on a user-by-user basis and determined by the ATC.
Whether it's a client that needs Kurzweil 3000 for reading assistance or Zoomtext for screen magnification, the ATC has several applications that can be installed on people's personal or work computer.

In situations where the use of alternative input devices such as an ergonomic keyboard, foot mouse, etc would benefit a client during their time in school, the ATC has the ability to checkout hardware to them as well.

For our clients that require adaptive software and/or hardware, but lack the financial means to purchase a computer, the ATC may be able to help.
Our laptop loaner program features a limited number of
Dell D600 laptops that can be checked out on a semester-long basis, with the possibility of renewal each semester.
Students will need proof of identification (Student ID card, driver's license, etc.) in order to checkout items from the Adaptive Technology Center.
