From boardrooms to classrooms, our graduates have earned national and

- Nearly 100 School of Education alumni have become college or
university presidents, and close to 400 graduates hold leadership
positions in our nation’s schools.
- IU's students promote world peace and friendship by volunteering for
the Peace Corps. In 2002, IU ranked in the top 10 nationally of
universities with the most alumni serving in the Corps.
- More than 100 Jacobs School of Music graduates appear on the rosters
of renowned opera houses, and more than 100 graduates play in 32 major
orchestras.
- More than 3,000 Kelley School of Business alumni hold top leadership
positions such as president, chairman, CEO, CFO, COO, founder, owner, or
partner.
- Eighty-seven percent of IU seniors who applied to law school were
accepted for the fall of 2002. The national average is 78 percent.
