From the moment you set foot on campus, you'll know you belong. IU is a
friendly, warm, and exciting place, where your college experience will
range far beyond the classroom. You'll get a world-class education and
have an amazing experience as a student too.
You've probably heard the saying that you can make a big school small,
but you can't make a small school big. At IU, that means you will have an
unbelievable and endless number of opportunities for academic, artistic,
recreational, cultural, social, and volunteer involvement. At the same
time, you'll get personal attention, small classes, and one-on-one
interaction with professors.
Join a comedy troupe, see RENT at the auditorium, become president of
your sorority, take part in a poetry slam, go skydiving with our outdoor
adventures club, dine at the Kosher Café, go to a Counting Crows
concert, volunteer at the animal shelter, ride in the Little 500, write
for our student newspaper, or follow the Hoosiers to a national
championship. But whatever you do, never sit still.
Our students tell us one of their biggest challenges is narrowing their
opportunities for involvement. See why we say this campus is overflowing
with opportunities:
