Advising

Our academic advisors are dedicated to providing our transfer students with the information, resources, and support they need to achieve their goals. They'll help you with everything from making the academic transition to IU to choosing a major to selecting your course work.

Your first contact with an academic advisor will be during Transfer Student Orientation. Then when you arrive on campus for the start of the fall or spring semester, you'll be introduced to your advisor who will either be from within the University Division or your major school or college. No matter who your advisor is, you will meet with them regularly and benefit from their expertise.
