Intercampus Transfer Students

We welcome several hundred intercampus transfer students — students who were previously enrolled on another IU campus — to IU Bloomington each year. Most enroll as full-time students and ultimately complete their degree on the Bloomington campus, while others enroll as visiting students and take a summer class or perhaps a semester of course work before returning to their home campus.

If you are an intercampus transfer student and would like to register for the summer or a single semester only, review the information found on our Visiting Students page.

If you are currently enrolled on another IU campus and would like to permanently transfer to IU Bloomington, review our intercampus admission standards and see how you will be placed in your chosen major or program.
