Multicultural Programs

Multicultural life and campus diversity are important components of the IU experience and our campus community. We offer several multicultural programs to help you and your family get a better sense of the IU community.  Review our visit options and contact us with any questions.

The Campus Collage

Spring 2010

This overnight program is for African American, Latino/a, American Indian, and Asian American students who have been admitted to IU. The program is designed to give admitted students a glimpse of IU. Participants stay overnight with current students,  meet other potential fall classmates, and receive information about residence life, academic and cultural resources, student organizations, orientation and more.

Future Scholars Day

Spring 2010

This program provides a comprehensive overview of Indiana University for African American, Latino/a, American Indian, and Asian American students in 10th and 11th grades and their families. The day will include information about admission, academic opportunities, residence life, student support services, financial aid, and campus diversity. Residence hall and campus tours will be offered and lunch will be provided.

I Am IU: An Exploration of African American Life

This Indiana University program is designed to introduce African American students to the abundant opportunities at Indiana University. Several IU campuses, including IU Bloomington, IUPUI, IU Kokomo, IU Northwest, and IU East. At I Am IU, students and their families will learn about the admissions process, scholarships, support programs, and academic, social, and cultural opportunities available at our campuses.
