Christine R. Swafford, CPA
Chris joined the team on March 17, 2008, as an Assistant Director. She previously held the position of Audit Manager with the department for twelve years, from February 1990 to November 2001. During her time away from the department she enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and also worked part-time administering the financial aid function for the IU School of Optometry. Chris earned her Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Accounting from the Kelley School of Business in December 1989. Chris is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Indiana and also holds the qualifications of Certified Internal Auditor. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
