Hello Scholars,

I am Mr. Smith and I have been given the responsibility to continue the programming efforts and day to day operations of the 21st Century Scholars Program in the place of Mrs. Jeanetta Nelms. Mrs. Nelms is a wonderful person and an outstanding professional who made sure that she provided the necessary academic, social, and culture programming that scholars require as students!

I want to ensure you that the same quality programming and opportunities will continue for you. Our office will continue to offer tutoring in various math and science courses and will continue to provide students with culturally enriched experiences that will contribute to a well rounded education here at IU.

On another note, I think that Mrs. Nelms would agree that this program would not be what it is today without your contributions. I want to continue enlisting your support in helping Cheryl and myself in the office. We need scholars to support us by continuing to come by the office and volunteer in helping us on special projects, whether it is filing, making flyers, designing our newsletter, or helping us to design and advertise upcoming events! I will periodically be sending out e-mails informing you of events and asking for assistance or support.
