BAAC Outstanding New Advisor Award

The BAAC has created an outstanding New Advisor Award to recognize new IUB academic advisors.  This award will be presented at the Fall 2016 BAAC meeting. Nominations are due by July 15th.  For more information please see the Outstanding New Advisor Award Criteria.

Out of the Darkness Walk for Suicide Prevention and Awareness Sunday, October 2, 2016

Thank you for supporting our advisors who participated in the Out of the Darkness Walk for Suicide
Prevention and Awareness in 2015.  We had 11 walkers and raised $425.  If you are interested in walking this year, the walk is on Sunday, October 2, 2016. It starts at IU Memorial Stadium at 1:00pm. You can register for the walk at www.outofthedarkness.org or at www.afsp.org.  Cindy Moore will be co-chairing this year's walk.

NACAD Updates

Commissioner Teresa Lubbers deleviered the State of Higher Eudcation address on Aprial 13th where she discussed the Commission's strategic plan, Reaching Higher, Delivering Value.
