Help us celebrate National Peace Corps Week! Returned volunteers at IU will be celebrating by hosting various events around campus February 23rd-March 2nd. The events are open to the public and are focused on sharing international experiences and cultural exchanges. Please see below the list of events and forward to all interested students and faculty.

National Peace Corps Week

February 23rd - March 2nd, 2008

Events:
Monday, February 23: Peace Corps Country Displays

10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Indiana Memorial Union, Frangipani Room
Enjoy light refreshments and learn more about the Peace Corps

Wednesday, February 25: International Peace Corps Night
6:30 - 8:30 p.m., School and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) Atrium. The night will include international cuisine, country displays and a presentation on the Peace Corps.

Thursday, February 26: Turkish Dinner with the IU RPCV Group
7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Turkuaz Cafe, 3rd and Lincoln.
Open to all; menu items $6 - $14

Friday, February 27: Happy Hour at Yogi's with Returned Volunteers
6:30 p.m. at Yogi's Grill and Bar, 519 E 10th St.

Monday, March 2: General Information Session
6:30 - 8:00 p.m., Ballantine Hall 148
To learn more about the Peace Corps and ask questions of the campus recruiter and returned volunteers from all over the world.
