Hutton Honors College

Christian Hines is a junior from Terre Haute. He is completing a major in history and an individualized major in modern political thought and action and is pursuing a certificate from the Liberal Arts and Management Program (LAMP) and a minor in English. After interning in the Washington, D.C., office of U.S. Senator Richard G. Lugar and with the Senate Committee for Foreign Relations, Christian founded and now chairs the Student Foreign Policy Initiative at IU. He has served as an opinion columnist and member of the Editorial Board of the Indiana Daily Student and is currently an associate justice of the IU Student Association Supreme Court. Christian is one of two IU juniors recently named a Wells Scholar.
