Gather your
friends and head to the IU Art Museum to enjoy regional
coffee samples, in-gallery entertainment, and of course
inspiring
original works of art! Free coffee samples related to the
cultures
featured each evening will be available in the Angles Cafe, along with
sweet treats from Bloomingfoods. An art scavenger hunt
and
raffle add
to the fun. Each evening offers a chance to experience something
new!
September
4: Art exhibits from the Beat Generation will
be featured in the first floor gallery, accompanied by poetry readings.
This is also an opportunity to partake in the HHC
Mixer and meet our new
dean, Matthew Auer!
September
11:
This evening will focus on an African theme,
featuring African art in the third floor gallery and an African drumming
ensemble.
September 18: The featured gallery this evening will consist of
Japanese street scenes, showcased in the second floor gallery,
and you
will be treated to traditional Japanese folksongs. Learn to make
your own works of art at a special Origami Workshop, co-sponsored
by the Hutton Honors College and the Asian American Association.
Drop
in any time between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. - we will be in the third floor
conference room of the IU Art Museum!
