CALL-OUT MEETING for February Arts Showcase and Gala

Hutton Honors College Great Room (811 E. Seventh St.)

The HUTTON HONORS COLLEGE and the HUDSON & HOLLAND SCHOLARS PROGRAM are proud to present the third annual ARTS SHOWCASE and GALA! On Thursday, Feb. 21, the Showcase/Gala will feature undergraduate student artwork, created by students majoring in any field using (almost) any medium, in a fabulous evening filled with panache and style. Plan to share your visual, performing, written, or spoken art and/or to volunteer to serve on planning committees for the event!

Interested parties (including biology majors who love to paint, history majors who write poetry, business majors who compose music, arts and music majors on their way to careers in their fields, and . . .) are invited to a CALL-OUT MEETING, 7:30-8:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 24, in the Great Room at the Hutton Honors College (on 7th and Woodlawn). Information will be presented about the plans for showcasing student work, the submission process, dates and deadlines, and opportunities to volunteer in planning and putting on the Showcase/Gala.

- Visual Arts (painting, drawing, photography, multimedia, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, fibers, fashion design, etc.)

- Written Word

- Performing Arts, Spoken Word, Video, and Film
