With public distrust and disapproval of government growing in the United States and the reality of a government shut down upon us, join Sam Daley-Harris, the founder and president of RESULTS, an international citizens' lobby, for a discussion about democracy, the capacity of citizens to bring about change, and ways to tackle hunger, poverty, and other problems that seem insoluble.

Daley-Harris is also the founder of the Microcredit Summit Campaign and the Center for Citizen Empowerment and Transformation and the author of Reclaiming Our Democracy: Healing the Break Between People and Government and of Pathways Out of Poverty: Innovations in Microfinance for the Poorest Families.
