Ready to look at something other than your study materials? Then plan to head to the IU Art Museum for a well-deserved study break on Friday afternoon, Dec. 13, at 3:30 p.m., HHC student docents will lead you on a private 30-minute tour inspired by the Themester topic: Connections: Networks in a Complex World with a selection of pieces from around the world in different media. The program also includes the museum's special exhibition, Art Interrupted: Advancing American Art and the Politics of Cultural Diplomacy, with an informal discussion about art-related initiatives and controversies in American cultural diplomacy with Leslie Lenkowsky, professor of practice in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs and former deputy director of the U.S. Information Agency, and former CIA field operations officer Gene Coyle, professor of practice in IU's new School of Global and International Studies.

Enjoy light refreshments and conversation with Professors Coyle and Lenkowsky and get your weekend off to a great start!

This event is part of the HHC's contribution to the College of Arts and Sciences themester programming on "Connections: Networks in a Complex World."
