Museum's Coffeehouse Night:
The Beat Goes On!

At the HHC mixer, students,
faculty, and staff had
the chance to meet
one
another and usher in the new semester in conjunction with the IU Art
Museum's first Coffeehouse Night of the semester, which featured the art
and poetry of the Beat generation.

The line is long for the coffee and sweet treats served at the
Angles
Cafe and Gift Shop, but it is well worth the wait!

Students, faculty, and staff mingle outside one of the
museum's galleries, where the museum was highlighting art of the Beat
era and offering poetry readings.

Since the evening featured poetry as well as art, the HHC's literary
magazine, Labyrinth, had a display. Callie Taylor, a former co-facilitator of the magazine,
and Adam
Ramey, one of this year's facilitators, stand beside their
poster
and an array of past and present publications.

Haley Waltman, the other Labyrinth facilitator this
year, joins Adam Ramey at the magazine's table.

a throng of students, faculty, and staff gather around him throughout
the evening!
