Origami Workshop at the IU Art Musuem's
Coffeehouse Night

September 18, 2008

In line with the theme of the IU Art Musuem's third and final Coffeehouse Night of the semester, which featured the art and music of Japan, students and community members learned to fold origami with the help of members of IU's Asian American Association.

If you recognize anyone in these photographs, please feel free to submit names to Hannah Dubina at hdubina.

Over the course of the evening, there is quite a crowd of attendees!

HHC student and AAA member Natsuki Atagi is one of the evening's instructors.

Several community members attending the Art Museum's Coffeehouse Night participate in the workshop.

Former HHC staff member Eriko Atagi teaches some students how to fold origami.

A couple of students take a break from folding to smile for the camera.

HHC student and AAA member Andrew Harbor teaches a group of students how to make elephants - they're really complicated!

Several of the finished works of art - we may not have been origami masters at the end of the evening, but it was great fun making them!
