Opera 101

Whether they were an opera novice or a fan, students joined music critic Peter Jacobi and opera coach Kim Carballo to learn what to look and listen for to heighten their enjoyment at the opera. IU's fall operas were featured in the program and included live performances.

	Performers from the fall opera The Merry Widow gave students a taste of what to expect.
	Music critic Peter Jacobi enlightened students on the wonders of the opera and helped educate guests on the intricacies of this art form.
	Freshman Dri Rivera acted as host during the program and performed introductions.
