Healthcare in America: On the Front Lines
Undergraduate Discussion Breakfast with Photographer and Filmmaker Carolyn Jones

November 18, 2014

Carolyn Jones is known internationally for her socially proactive work. Her recent work on The American Nurse Project is based on the certainty that nurses will matter—a lot—to each of us at some point in our lives or the lives of friends and family because they are on the "front lines of health and healthcare."

Jones spoke with students about how she became interested in working on The American Nurse Project, which aims to elevate the voice of nurses in the United States by capturing their personal stories through photography and film.

She spoke about her career path and what she has learned through her work on a variety of projects.

Students stayed after the discussion to ask Jones more questions about her work.
