Philosopher John Searle has addressed a wide range of subjects— from artificial intelligence to universal human rights, from collective action to the biology of consciousness, from free will to relativism.

John Searle's work has had a profound impact on a variety of fields, including cognitive science, psychology, computer science, and linguistics.

Searle has been a Guggenheim Fellow, the BBC Reith Lecturer, and twice a Fulbright Fellow. Among his many awards, he has received the Mind & Brain Prizes, the Puffendorf Medal, and the National Humanities Medal.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions about his work.
