The HUTTON HONORS COLLEGE and the HUDSON & HOLLAND SCHOLARS PROGRAM are proud to present the second annual ARTS SHOWCASE and GALA! On Thursday, Feb. 23, the Showcase and Gala will feature undergraduate student artwork, created by students from any major using any medium, in a fabulous evening filled with panache and style. Plan to share your visual, performing, written, or spoken art and/or volunteer to serve on planning committees for the event!

Interested parties (including biology majors who love to paint, history majors who write poetry, business majors who compose music, arts and music majors, and . . .) are invited to participate. Each applicant may submit work in one or more of the following categories, up to a total of 3 pieces/performances:

- Visual Arts (painting, drawing, photography, multimedia, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, fibers, fashion design, etc.)

*For those who submit 2D visual art, you will have the additional, exciting opportunity to have your work considered for display in IMUG, the Indiana Memorial Union Gallery, in the days following the Gala.*

- Written/Spoken Word

- Performing Arts

Please submit the Arts Showcase Application by the December 9th priority deadline to request a spot for your art at the gala. Applications will be accepted until the final deadline of February 6th, but those submitted by December 9th will receive priority. *Please print out the application and submit it to Anna Duquaine in the Hutton Honors College Building (811 E. 7th Street), Room 210H, OR to Mimi Attenoukon at the HHSP office in Memorial Hall West, Room 108.*

The visual art submission period will be at the Hutton Honors College from 12 to 5 p.m. on February 21st and 22nd, 2012.
