HHC Undergraduate Grant Program

The Hutton Honors College Undergraduate Grant Program helps facilitate participation in activities that enhance a student's educational, academic, creative, service, and/or pre-professional goals outside the classroom. HHC grants are made on a merit basis to individual students.

$$$ Learn about HHC Grants for Summer, Fall & Full Year. Come to an Informational Meeting about the Hutton Honors College Undergraduate Grant Program. Come to Woodburn 101 on Monday, September 25, 5:45-6:45pm. Deadline for Spring Grants is 5pm on the last Friday in October. Deadline for summer grants is 5pm on the Friday before Spring Break. Deadline for fall and full year grants is 5pm on the first Friday after Spring Break.

The HHC Undergraduate Grant Program aids students in many different ways.

Our HIEP grant program continues to help send students traveling overseas. Our other grants-Research, Internship, Creative Activities, Travel, etc.-have provided support for student endeavors for over forty years.

All applicants who are leaving Bloomington for their activities must also complete and attach either a domestic or foreign travel waiver to their application.

Edward Gubar is the director of the Hutton Honors College Undergraduate Grant Program.
Jeff Heerdink is the manager of the Edward L. Hutton International Experiences Program.

**NOTE**: If you filed the FAFSA and are receiving financial aid (for example: Direct Loans, Pell Promise grants, 21st Century Scholars Covenant), and you receive one of the Hutton Honors College's grants for scholarships, your award from the Hutton Honors College may not be paid-out in the form of cash funds (i.e., as money paid into your Bursar account), but instead, may be used by IU's Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) to reduce your student/parent loan burden or reduce your federal/state grant by the amount awarded to you by the HHC.
