In addition to the Hutton International Experiences Program (HIEP) grant, we
also administer several special named scholarship awards. If you meet the
minimum qualifications of an HIEP grant application, as well as the specific
qualifications for these awards, you will automatically be
considered for these selective scholarships. There is no separate application for
these named scholarships, and you cannot apply for them seperately. On the HIEP grant application,
you may indicate the awards you want to be considered for
based on their respective criteria.
Most of these awards, with the exception of the Emerging Markets
Experience Scholarship, are in addition to any HIEP grant you might
receive, and may not be available every semester. You
may indicate more than one named scholarship on the HIEP grant application, but no more than one named
award will be offered to you. Students who receive these awards will be
expected to provide autobiographical information and may be required to meet with
donors or attend special events.
