IMP Capstone Awards
Hutton Honors College/Individualized Major Program Capstone Awards (up
$500) are made
individual students on a merit basis. Awards are made to graduating IMP
students during their final undergraduate semester.
In order to apply, students must have a
cumulative GPA of
3.4 or higher AND a GPA of 3.7 or higher in the
major. Applicants must attach a transcript to their applications.
An unofficial one is acceptable. Applicants must also list the costs
associated with the preparation and execution of their project. All
taken in the major must be noted. Students who have completed more than 25
in their IMP major may then identify the 25 hours or more of their
that satisfy the major GPA requirement for this award. Students who have
completed 25 hours in the IMP major by the time of application but whose
grades in the
major so far satisfy the major GPA requirement should apply as well.

**NOTE**: If you filed the FAFSA and are receiving financial aid (for example: Direct Loans, Pell Promise grants, 21st Century Scholars Covenant),
and you receive one of the Hutton Honors College's grants for scholarships, your award from the Hutton Honors College may not be paid-out in
the form of cash funds (i.e., as money paid into your Bursar account), but instead, may be used by IU's Office of Student Financial Assistance
(OSFA) to reduce your student/parent loan burden or reduce your federal/state grant by the amount awarded to you by the HHC. To learn how your HHC
award may impact your financial aid, please contact OSFA at email@example.com. Also, please refer to OSFA for information regarding study abroad and financial aid.
