My most positive experience was the overall quality of honors courses. One of my best memories of the Hutton Honors College is the Huttoen IEP Grant I recieved which enabled me to study abroad in The Netherlands for six months. While in Europe, I made some of the closest friends I have ever had, and I learned how to survive in an international setting--a quality that is critical for business ( and most other) majors to have.

Moving to Denver, CO for a year-long AmeriCorps position with a nonprofit that focuses on long-term drop-out prevention; will be working with a 4th grade class of at-risk students both in the classroom and in an after-school program.
The honors courses I was able to take through Hutton were definitely the most interesting and engaging classes I took in my four years at IU, and they allowed for great class discussion and interaction with some of the best professors on campus. I also want to thank the HHC for the IEP Grant which helped me and so many other students make their study abroad dreams come true. My semester in Valparaiso, Chile, is an experience I will never forget!

At CU, will be pursuing a Masters in peace studies, with the eventual hope of working toward a Doctorate and becoming a professor.
