Conceptual Framework Elements

This document outlines the conceptual and philosophical foundation for IUB's teacher education programs. It has been generated by those involved in the process of teacher education at IUB including faculty in the School of Education and other units of the University, students, and P-12 school teachers and administrators. The conceptual framework articulates the commitments, values, and forms of knowledge considered by the IUB teacher education community as central to the teaching profession and serves as a guide to the development and on-going revision of its programs.
