Spring 2010 BSN Application to IUPUI Available July 27-September 15, 2009
Fall 2010 BSN Application Available January 15-March 15, 2010

Bloomington students interested in applying for admission to a regional campus (any IU campus other than IUB or IUPUI) must first contact the advisor on that campus directly to ensure that they meet application deadlines and admission requirements. Bloomington students interested in applying for admission on the IUPUI campus do not need to consult an advisor on that campus because we share common requirements and deadlines. Regional campus applications are available from the regional campus advisors or regional campus web sites.

  • Bloomington students applying to IUB (fall admission only) and/or IUPUI (fall and spring admission) must complete the on-line application from the link posted on this page. The one form will cover application to IUB, IUPUI, or both.
  • Students interested in only regional campuses must complete only the regional campus applications (available from regional campus advisors or regional campus web sites), and must contact the regional campus advisor to ensure they have met all the admission requirements .
  • Students interested in applying to IUB and/or IUPUI and regional campuses must fill out both the IUB (on-line) and regional campus applications. Applicants to both IUB/IUPUI and regional campuses must make sure they rank their campus preferences the same on all applications. That is, if a student ranks IUPUI first and South Bend second on the IUB (on-line) application, she must also rank IUPUI first and South Bend second on the South Bend (paper) application.

Completing the Application

  • Fall 2010 online application available January 15-March 15, 2010 ONLY.
  • Spring 2010 online application available July 27-September 15, 2009 ONLY.

Once you have completed the application, you will hit the "submit" button and this will take you to a page where you will print a copy of your application. Be sure you save this printed application for your records. Once you hit "submit" your application will be submitted electronically to the School of Nursing at Bloomington. At that point you will no longer be able to modify your application.

  • Changing Your Application

Once you submit your application you will not have access to update it. If you need to update or change your application in any way please submit your request in writing to the Nursing Advisor by the last day of finals for the spring semester (for fall application) or summer session (for spring application). (dhrisoma@indiana.edu)

  • Essential Components of the Application: High School Transcript, Student Disclosure Form

    • If you have met the School of Nursing chemistry requirement with high school course work you must submit a high school transcript to Shirley Wines at the School of Nursing in Bloomington, Sycamore Hall Rm 437, once you have completed your on-line application. If you have met the School of Nursing chemistry requirement with course work on your IU transcript, you do not need to submit a high school transcript. If you have previously provided your transcript to the School of Nursing, you do not need to provide another one. However, check with Shirley Wines to verify that your transcript is still on file and then indicate on your application in the "Additional Information Section" that the School of Nursing has a copy of your transcript.
    • A Student Disclosure Form is required of all individuals applying to an undergraduate nursing major at IUB/IUPUI. More information will be provided for applicants.
    • If students are offered admission to the School of Nursing, a National Criminal Background check must be obtained by the student. The fee is $60.
    • Students admitted to the nursing program are required to submit a national criminal background check at least annually.

  • Submitting Your Application Materials

Please hand-deliver your high school transcript (if appropriate), and student disclosure form together during regular business hours M-F 8AM-4:30PM, to:
