Undergraduate Program
Our Department offers the best of two worlds, as we provide the individual mentoring typical of a small liberal arts college with the rich variety of opportunities for undergraduates to participate in research that is only available at a major research university. Some of our students have gone on to some of the best graduate schools in the country, while, at the same time, others chose different paths upon graduation by going directly into industry, teaching, or professional school.
The IU Physics department offers a number of different degree programs to fit individual student needs. This includes a new applied physics program with and integrated internship, a traditional BS program, and a BA program that is suitable for a variety of double majors.
