February  5, 2009 (Spring Festival Photos)

Chinese Spring Festival is an annual event that provides around 1000 participates with free buffet and performances at the IU Auditorium.  This year IU students and Bloomington residents lined-up outside in the cold weather to see the performance. The many performances included comedy, music al instrument performance, multi-language songs, break dancing, skits, and many more.  With more members in CSSA each day, we hope to improvement our event every year.

 

November 5, 2008 (Coffee Hour Photos)

Each year, IUCSSA host coffee hour at the International Center. This event gives non-Chinese students and community members an opportunity to explore Chinese culture. Everyone can enjoy a cup of tea, play Chinese games, learn about Chinese culture, or simply chat with each other.

November 1,2008 ( Moon Festival Photos )

Moon Festival is an annual event hosted by IUCSSA to celebrate Moon Festival. This year, IUCSSA invited other Asian student organizations (Asian Student Union, Hong Kong Student Association, Japanese Student Association, Korean Student Association, Malaysia Student Association, Taiwan Student Association, and Student Association, Vietnam Student Association) to co-host the festival. Everyone who attend the event enjoyed free buffet, performance by various Asian student organizations, played fun Asian games, learned about Asian cultures, had their fortune told, and so much more.

May 30, 2008 ( Earthquake Fund Raiser Photos )

Thank you all for your love and help to the victims in the 5.12 earthquake in China.  We've raised $5600.69 in the past two weeks to help the victim of earhtquake in China.  All the donations have been sent to Chinese Red Cross.  In addition we like to give special thanks to International Center, Asian Culture Center, Asian Student Union, Indiana Daily student and the whole IU community for their support.

CSSA really appreciate everything you've done for this relief effort.
