1. When / where is the next IU Dance marathon?
The next IU Dance Marathon will be October 28 – 30, 2005 at the Indiana University campus in Bloomington, Indiana.

2. Do I need a ticket or a special pass to attend the event?
No, visiting the marathon is free to everyone. If you can't make it as a dancer or committee member, please come visit us!

3. Do I have to stay all 36 hours?
Each dancer is strongly encouraged to stay all 36 hours. However, there are activities planned throughout the Marathon that ensure that there is never a dull moment.
As one of our kids from Riley put it, "If I can stay up all 36 hours, so can you!"

4. Do I have to dance?
While dancing is a fun part of the Marathon, there are a variety of activities to do that do not require dancing, including playing with the kids from Riley Children's Hospital, socializing, playing sports games and eating.

5. What about sleeping/eating?
As a dancer, there is no sleeping! However, dancers do have 13 meals throughout the 36 hours to relax, rest, and get energy.

6. What activities are planned for the next marathon?
The Line Dance has become a tradition at the IU Dance Marathon, as well as the appearances of bands, karaoke, celebrity guests and playing with the kids from Riley Children's Hospital.

7. What responsibilities are expected of me as a volunteer/committee member?
IU Dance Marathon is a year long event. It takes a great deal of preparation and planning. All committee members take active roles in getting each year's marathon off the ground and making each event better than the last.
