The National Day of Silence is a day that seeks to address the silence that is imposed upon Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, and Transgender individuals and other minority groups by means of non-violent, silent demonstration. On the NDoS, oppressed groups of all stripes and their allies join together to prove that silence can be deafening.
