IUSF Little 500 Season 2009

Indiana University Student Foundation's annual Little 500 men's and women's relay bicycle races are the university's largest events and together hold the title of the "World's Best College Weekend." Riders practice daily for months prior to the race, and participate in a series of special events. IU-EMS provides coverage for all practices and special events in addition to the races themselves. Substitutions: If you are unable to work your assigned practice shift any week, you must find a

substitute by using the following protocol:

E-mail iuems_L5w@Listserv.indiana.edu (there is an underscore "_" between "iuems" and "L5w") and indicate the day and shift for which you need a substitute, as well as your position (EMT or First Aider).
Available members will e-mail you directly.
Reply to one member confirming the day and shift that they will serve as a substitute for you, as well as confirming the position (EMT or First Aider). Save a copy of this e-mail in case your substitute does not work the shift.
Reply to all other members that contacted you informing them that a substitute has already been found.

Only an EMT may substitute for another EMT, but either an EMT or a First Aider can substitute for

a First Aider.
