A group of SPEA students joined together in the fall of 2013 to celebrate their shared interest in food, agriculture, and nutrition policy. We all believe that the food system needs to change for our health and the health of the planet. Over the course of the 2013-2014 academic year, we will host a series of informal roundtable discussions with local food activists, academics, chefs, farmers, and more to help SPEA students connect with the vibrant local food community and learn about grassroots food movement action happening right here in Bloomington. Please watch for announcements about our upcoming events on the EMSDA listserv.
