The Department of Geological Sciences has four endowments that are specified for the Geologic Field Station. All money contributed to these funds are added to the principal of the funds. The estimated annual income from the funds is approximately 4% to 5% of the principal. Three of the funds support scholarships and other student, faculty, and research needs; the fourth fund supports maintenance of the Field Station.
Persons wishing to contribute to these funds should make checks payable to Indiana University Foundation and specify the fund to which they wish to contribute (alternatively, the fund may be specified in a cover letter) and mail them to:
