Michael Swihart's "Seven principles of the American Republic" presentation

The 7 Principles of the American Republic is a study of the Principles this great nation was founded on, and how they should be applied to these dangerous times we now find ourselves in.  Theses Principles are what forged a nation which became the pinnacle of modern society to date and lead to achievements and innovations unparalled worldwide.  With these Principles being passed off to our generation as antiquated, it is now even more imparitive that we fully understand the Princliples that made America the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Ordered Liberty

In the fight between Order and Liberty we must maintain a balance and not slip to one extreme or another.

Private Property

Private Property is vital in limiting overuse of resources and increasing one's personal stake in this country.

Free Market Economy

An economy based on supply and demand instead of government regulation is the greatest key to America's prosperity.

Federal Republic

The United States were formed with a government of checks and balances in order to distribute political power.

Limited Government

Government must not overstep their role for the people, for more government always means less Liberty.

Rule of Law

The Rule of Law in the United States forms a society where everyone is equal under the law, not unequal under men.

Personal Responsibility

The idea of personal responsibility is universal and needs to be the bedrock of our American Republic.
