Deadline extensions for the 2012 IUHPFL Program cycle:

• Personal Application: The personal application deadline for the 2012 IUHPFL cycle has been extended to January 9th, 2012. If students wish to be considered for the 2012 Program cycle, all application materials must be submitted electronically by January 9th.   Note:  students must be invited to apply to the Honors Program.  Whether or not a student is invited to apply depends on if he/she passed the language test.
   
• Financial Aid Application:  The financial aid application deadline for the 2012 IUHPFL cycle has been extended to January 31st, 2012. For more information on how to apply for financial aid with the IUHPFL, please click here.   Note:  Financial aid at the IU Honors Program in Foreign Languages is a reduction in Program Fees and is not a loan that needs to be paid back. Even though we use FAFSA as a tool to figure the expected family contribution, we determine the need for financial aid based solely on the pool of Honors Program applicants, independent of Indiana University at large.

Spring 2012 Orientation and Program Dates:

Orientation will take place on the campus of Indiana University-Bloomington. Final acceptance to the Honors Program is contingent upon successful completion of the orientation, thus attendance is mandatory for participants and at least one parent/guardian. It is highly suggested to attend the Orientation scheduled for the students' specific program, as it will be the only opportunity with students to engage with one another and with their instructors before departure.
