Web Browser Version Compatibility Information

Netscape version 4.75, 4.76 and 4.77 are compatible with the current version of IUIE. Netscape 6.0 and 6.1 should not be used to access the IUIE, as there are major compatibility issues.
When using Internet Explorer with the IUIE, we recommend version 5.5 or 6.0 be installed.
For people at Bloomington or IUPUI, you can download Internet Explorer 5.5 and Netscape 4.77 from IUWare Online (http://iuware.indiana.edu/).
It is strongly recommended that you keep both Internet Explorer and Netscape up to date on your computer. If one browser needs to be upgraded due to a new system requirement or security problem, your other browser may be available to continue your work immediately while waiting to get the other one upgraded.
