MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine - August 19-20, 2009

We took a two day trip to MSUCOM to get an idea of what an osteopathic medical school was like. The visit consisted of a tour of the facilities, having lunch with current medical students, and a listening to the dean and admissions counselors speak.

MAPS Leadership Retreat - February 27, 2010

The MAPS Leadership Retreat was a one day retreat held on the IU Campus to help MAPS members get to know one another and brainstorm on how to become better leaders. In addition, members learned about the history of MAPS and its laws. Prospective EBoard applicants were required to attend this retreat. Afterwards, members went bowling at the IMU Backalley.

MAPS Banquet - April 17, 2010

The MAPS Banquet was a formal dinner held in the Federal Room of the IMU. The Banquet was an opportunity to celebrate a year's worth of MAPS accomplishments and a sendoff to the seniors in the organization.

MAPS Networking Night - April 18, 2010

The 2nd Annual MAPS Networking Night was held in the Tudor Room at the IMU. Networking Night was a formal dinner that provided a chance for pre-professional students to meet with local medical professionals and medical students. Our keynote speaker for the night was Dr. Robert Stone, who spoke about healthcare reform.
