    InGEAR (Integrating Gender Equity Reform) funded by the National Science Foundation Gender Equity Project. One of twenty faculty participating in a series of six workshops to prepare preservice teachers in the area of gender equity awareness.

    National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) Participant in a three-day workshop ATraining the Trainer@ prior to becoming part of the Georgia Southern University Campus Affiliate Team. Team members guide NCBI Diversity Workshops on Prejudice Reduction and Conflict Resolution.

    Georgia Southern University Search Committee Faculty search for Assistant Professor of Educational Foundations and Curriculum (1997.

    The National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, Validator. Validates criteria of early childhood programs for the NAEYC (1989-present).
